| Title: The Regency HP Fic Summary: Jane Austen meets Harry Potter. Unfinished, and liable to stay that way. Rating: G Notes: This was posted on Copperbadge ages ago and then forgotten about; for a while it was lost, then I reposted it, then it was lost again in the hack, but fortunately LJSeek cached a copy of the second post. And now it is here, hopefully to stay. First posted 9.06.04( Lord Black is Amiable and Mr. Harry Potter takes a walk with Colonel Lupin &etc. ) | |
| Author's Note: Just some AU silliness I came up with, featuring a crimelord called Uncle, Dumbledore's usual oblivious self, and the Dursleys getting what's been coming to them, Sopranos style. ( The Uncle ) | |
| Summary: After his flight at the end of HBP, Draco ends up in a slightly unusual place -- with a very unusual new teacher... Notes: "Invictus", the poem, is by William Earnest Henley and can be sung to the tune of Amazing Grace, The Yellow Rose Of Texas, or, in a pinch, the theme song to Gilligan's Island. I'm not sure who wrote Whiskey In The Jar, it's an old Irish tune, but apparently Metallica has done a cover of it... ( Captain My Own Soul ) | |
| Note: The Dye Job was just a silly idea I had; The Shave was a twisted interpretation of the prompt 'Remus Lupin gets rid of his grey hair'. ( The Dye Job )( The Shave ) | |
| kungfooqueen did a meme a while back where she advised people to draw or write a shameless Mary Sue self-insertion fic. This isn't quite a self-insertion, it's more meta, but I had fun with it :D First Posted to this journal 2.21.06.( Because I Can ) | |

| ( Song of Degrees )The Oresteia of Aeschylus, Watchman's Prologue: I pray the gods will give me some relief and end this weary job. One long full year I've been lying here, on this rooftop, the palace of the sons of Atreus, resting on my arms, just like a dog.... Psalm 130:I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than sentinels that watch for the morning: I say, more than sentinels that watch for the morning..... | |
| Summary: In an alternate universe, one man still struggles with a moral decision made many years before. Warning: Themes of suicide; reference to major character death. ( Reclamation ) | |
| Notes: This is a series of free-verse poems (oh, stop groaning) which began with "When I Come For You", rightfully the first piece I wrote in the Harry Potter fandom, though The Children is the first full fic. I concieved the idea of a series of poems about the books, similar to the Spoon River Anthology, in which several members of the town of Spoon River is allowed to speak their piece in poetry. It's not great poetry, but it is my poetry, and so why not post it, eh? Revision Notes: This has been revised somewhat since its first posting on the now-defunct Oojahs site. It was written pre-OotP, sometime around May of 2003. First posted to Sam_Storyteller March 20, 2006.( The Moon Meadow Anthology ) | |

| Summary: Harry sees more than Remus gives him credit for, and fills his own need for occupation. Gen, angst. ( Fixing ) | |
| Author's Notes: Yap challenged me to write a fanfic where Remus Lupin was a total and complete ass. I tried as best I could. It ended up being a fun little fic about mood changes and guardian angels, and levi's jeans, and the Muggle Underground. Thanks to Yap, of course, for inspiration and beta; also to the Y!M Marauders, Jen, Monica, Priscellie, Alicey, and Allison, and the Lone AIMer, Mary. ( Black And Blue ) | |
| Summary: The difference between Severus Snape and Tom Riddle is in the singular question of Why.( Interrogative ) | |
| Rating: PG; Remus/Tonks. Notes: Oh, I feel nostalgic about this. Once upon a time in the X-Files fandom, when I was but a wee fanling, there was an entire genre devoted to the "annual dance" at which our hero and heroine finally realised they were perfect for each other. Hopefully this isn't quite as trite as so many of those were (and don't think I never wrote any, 'cause I did) but it still brings back memories. It was actually inspired by a temporary mp3 playlist; I was testing a series of mp3s to make sure they were what they said they were. So this fic owes its existence to: Struggle - Ringside Sway - Michael Buble Just Like Fred Astaire - James Home - Michael Buble Save the Last Dance - Michael Buble Originally Posted 12.13.05( The Last Dance ) | |

| This fic was originally posted on February 6th, 2006, as a birthday gift for setissma. She and Linn have kindly allowed me to repost it here. The fic itself was written, with conceptual assistance from Linn, by myself. The splendid art is by linnpuzzle. Summary: Remus gets everything he asked for on his sixteenth birthday and then some. ( Better Than A Bobble Hat ) | |
| Author's Notes: The lines spoken during the spell are, of course, from Macbeth, as is the potion. ( The Spell Journal ) | |
| Rating: PG-13 Summary: On Christmas Eve, Remus gets up enough courage to call Nymphadora, and receives an especially tempting invitation. Set during HBP. Originally Posted 9/9/2006( Remus Lupin's Booty Call ) | |

| Author's Notes: This is actually a detailed arrangement of some vague ideas I had in my head for the backstory of "my" Lupin -- most of the stories I write about him, he has a similar background, though his presents may be different from each other. ( Time To Understand ) | |
| Author's Notes: I blame Monica, who said to me "I dare you to write a Remus/Harry and make it not be wrong." ( Being the First ) | |
| Summary: Someone had written a revisionist history book claiming that the idea for the piano was stolen from a wizarding instrument of great antiquity. Draco had to admit that anything involving stringing cat's guts on pegs and pounding them with hammers did seem about in the Pureblood line. Notes: Inspired by blythely. ( Conservatory ) | |
| Notes: For mctabby, who if memory serves requested "something, anything Slughorn". I hope I have fulfilled the requirement; it may be doubtful, but I have done my best to show him as his favourite student saw him. At any rate, I hope it pleases. ( In Every Word ) | |
| Summary: Three unusual Tasks which could have happened in three Triwizard Tournaments that never did. R/S implied, Harry/Cedric Notes: Alternate Universe. Alternate Universe. Canonpicking is fun but pointless because it is an alternate universe. Also, thanks to pinkfinity for the concept, metallumai for the title, setissma and dopplegl for the encouragement, and the Monday Night Pandomonium for help with the plot and indiscriminant encouragement. I may have forgotten someone. If so, forgive and notify. First Posted: Nov. 22, 2005( Games Almost Played: Prologue and Act 1 ) | |

| Summary: After death, what is left but our identifying marks? Warning: Jesus, where did this come from? I honestly...I don't know. I woudn't read this if I came across it. ( Identifying Marks. ) | |
| Author's Note: This fic came about through several separate events: Yap's long-neglected request for Library Smut, a cellfic about wibbling written for Jaida, and the vague feeling that Stefanie will probably get a kick out of the gentle library humour. It is, now that I come to think about it, a pastiche. Which is not a type of bread. ( Turnabout ) | |
| Author's Notes: This fic is a bit of a freak; I wrote it to a picture Monica Starling had drawn, sort of fanwriting the fanart if you will. You can find the picture at the bottom of http://www.livejournal.com/users/mon_starling/163829.html . Thanks as always to the betagangs on LJ and YM. And also to Billy Shakespeare for the Midsummer poetry *wink* ( All The World ) | |
| Summary: Remus has decided it's time to cure Tonks of her awkwardness, the only way he knows how. Post OotP. Warnings: Um. Heterosexuality. (what a weird world where I have to warn for slash AND het). ( Rhapsody in Blue ) | |
| Title: The Lens of Years Rating: R. Summary: Beginning in 1981, the chronicle of Remus' uneasy relationship with the Tonks family, and "that kid Nymphadora" in particular. RL/SB implied, RL/NT. Notes: Yes, it's quasi-songfic, and yes, I am SO ASHAMED. The verses at the start of every "segment" are from Camera Shy by The Lucksmiths. setissma is to blame. :D I am also aware that Southend-on-Sea is nowhere near the Pacific, but then again neither is ANYWHERE IN BRITAIN and it made more sense than having them take a random holiday in California. Ahahaha note to self, create "Het Fic" icon.( The Lens of Years ) | |
| ( The Literal Game )Endnotes: Remus, of course, quotes many things in the Literal Game; among them Kipling's "Just So Stories", Vachel Lindsay's "Euclid" from "Poems about the Moon", Edwin Arlington Robinson's "Eros Turannos", and Keats' "Bright Star". | |
| Author's Notes: Thanks to the LJ and YM gangs for their betas and suggestions. And to Pris, who is somehow inspiring in her belief that Percy is redeemable. ( All The Words ) | |
| Author's Notes: I've always thought that most of the pairings in HP were done far too fluffily most of the time, and when Monica agreed with me, she challenged me to write non-fluffy Percyslash. Thanks go of course to her, as well as the rest of the Y!M crowd, Jen, Alicey, Priscellie, and Allison (for putting up with me) and Mary and Yap, faithful betas. ( After The Game ) | |
| Summary: Remus doesn't own his body, after all -- so why should he care who else does? MWPP-era. Warnings: language, sexual themes both het and slash, underage prostitution. ( Ownership ) | |
| Sirius/Bellatrix was suggested to me a while ago, but I could never figure out a way to do it without making Sirius an incestuous perv. I owe it to Jaida, really, though she threatened to disown me if I wrote it. ( Always A Woman ) | |
| Summary: Remus wishes he were invisible. James and Lily know better. ( Belong ) | |
| An old set of drabbles I thought I'd share... ( Mealtime ) | |
